As it’s a bank holiday Monday, something a little more light-hearted!
However, these headlines do highlight how wrong it can go if you don’t think things through from the reader’s perspective, or you make a terrible typo. Never say never – it’s surprisingly easy to make such mistakes with press releases and other public relations material.
My best advice is to get at least two other people to check anything before you send it out to the media. Ideally make one of those someone who has nothing to do with the PR campaign as they won’t be hindered by ‘expecting’ to see something that is or isn’t there.
